18 Aug 2026: @catcoin announces $CAT → $CATCOIN, 1B supply, unified liquidity. @MigrateFun: “In a migration first, we are unifying @catcoin’s community by combining both its SOL and BNB tokens into a single relaunch on pumpfun.” mig221 is canonical: 50M CAT = 1 MFT, powered by Emblem Vault, homepage window 18 Aug–7 Sep. Official how-to the next day — SOL one transaction; BNB two wallets then “claim MFT.” @catcoin spent the week posting “we will NEVER DM you first / we have NO support account.” Impersonators arrived anyway on recycled pre-2015 handles (@MigrateFunCTO, @MigrateFun_CTO, @Migratefun_DEX) and costume names (Kirk Behke, Carl Williamson, Noah). Named holders: @Ovickyoung (“you are the scammer”), @ttvtt0304 (Gate.io), @Dandy09097 (wallet connect). 26 Aug: 30.61% deposited. Remaining 69.4% is not captured until the window closes.

Two claim events, one window. The official how-to is a sensor. The impersonators are the parasite that always arrives when a platform says “claim.” A holder, a how-to video, a fake support account, a Claim-Pad. The unmigrated remainder is the product — but do not treat 69.4% as treasury while the clock is still running. BNB-liquidity withdrawal would be a coercion event; it is only a poll so far.

Reported take: 26 Aug: 306,147,073 CAT deposited (30.61% of 1B). Remaining 693,852,927. Not treasury until close.

  • Whether any Catcoin holder was actually drained (on-record). Ovickyoung used a sent app and could not claim — not yet a confirmed drain.
  • Who runs @MigrateFun / Emblem Vault. Permalink of the “full transparency” quote.
  • Exact join dates for the recycled IDs (handles swapped onto old accounts; creation-year still inferred from ID range).
